Author Visit!

An Author Arrived at Hickling...

This week we were very lucky to have an author visit KS1. His name was Billy Bob Buttons (pen name) we welcomed to our school with much excitement!

He told us about how he became an author, what he does when he writes a book and read us some of his stories.

He answered the many questions we had and it's safe to say we were ALL INSPIRED! After he had left the children wanted to write their own stories! He even sneaked back in to help us when he saw what we were doing.

The Year 1 Boys entered a football tournament which was held at the Norwich City Training Ground! Miss Wones took the boys, accompanied by our bus driver Richard (who quickly turned into first team coach!!).
